Magnetic Connector Installation

Please install the magnetic connector onto the @Pette Mini following the direction indicated on the connector.

Interface Description

The device is equipped with 2 USB-C ports. Both ports are functionally identical and support:

  • Connecting the power adapter to supply power to the device
  • Connecting an external power dock to supply power to third-party devices and optimize power management on the lab bench

Before Use

Power Connection

Use the included power adapter and power cable to supply power to the device. The device will power on automatically once power is connected, and the white light ring on the top cover will turn on.

Parking and Recharging

Attach the included magnetic connector to the @Pette Mini, then place the @Pette Mini into the corresponding slot on the Charging Hub to begin recharging. If the device is not placed correctly, it may not be recognized — please readjust and try again.

Identifying Multiple Devices

Different @Pette Mini models have different color codes. You can distinguish between models by referring to the side label on the device or the marking on the @Pette Mini itself.

Light Type

The device is equipped with a white light ring on the top cover to indicate its current status.

Light On/Off Control

The top cover is equipped with a capacitive touch area. Tap the top cover once to turn the light on, and tap it again to turn it off.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance is recommended to keep the device in good working condition.

Daily Cleaning

  1. Disconnect power before cleaning.
  2. Use a soft, clean, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the device.
  3. For dust, fingerprints, or general dirt, use a dry or lightly dampened soft cloth.

Disinfection

The device enclosure supports the following common disinfection methods:

  • UV sterilization
  • Alcohol wipe-down

UV Sterilization

UV sterilization may be applied to the outer surface of the device in accordance with laboratory management protocols. Follow the operating instructions of the UV equipment and ensure personnel are not directly exposed to UV light without appropriate protection.

Note: Components inside the slots are removable and can be taken out separately for disinfection.

Alcohol Wipe-Down

Use alcohol wipes or a soft cloth lightly dampened with alcohol to wipe the outer surface of the device. When doing so, please note:

  • Do not spray liquid directly onto the device surface
  • Avoid alcohol entering USB-C ports, gaps, or the interior of the device
  • Allow the surface to dry completely before reconnecting power

Maintenance Recommendations

  1. Keep device slots, ports, and surfaces clean. Avoid accumulation of dust or liquid.
  2. When not in use for extended periods, disconnect power and store in a dry, clean environment.
  3. Do not use strongly corrosive, acidic, alkaline, or abrasive cleaning agents.
  4. Do not attempt to disassemble the device enclosure or internal components.
  5. If the device surface, ports, or connectors show signs of contamination, liquid residue, or damage, stop use and contact after-sales support.

FAQ / Troubleshooting

Q1: The device won't power on. What should I do?

Please check in the following order:

  1. Confirm the power adapter and power cable are properly connected
  2. Confirm the power outlet is functioning
  3. Use only the included or officially specified power adapter and cable
  4. Disconnect and reconnect power, then wait for the device to start up

If the device still won't power on, please contact after-sales support.

Q2: The @Pette Mini is not being recognized after placement. What should I do?

Please check the following:

  1. Whether the magnetic connector has been properly attached to the @Pette Mini
  2. Whether the @Pette Mini has been correctly placed in the corresponding slot
  3. Whether there is any misalignment or insufficient contact
  4. Whether dust, liquid, or foreign objects are interfering with the connection

Remove the device and reinsert it, adjusting the position as needed. If the issue persists, try a different slot.

Q3: The @Pette Mini is placed in the slot but recharging has not started. What should I do?

Possible causes include improper placement, connection error, or poor contact. Try the following:

  1. Confirm the magnetic connector is properly installed
  2. Confirm the @Pette Mini is fully seated in the slot
  3. Remove and reinsert the device
  4. Check that the slot and connector are clean and free of obstructions

If recharging still does not start after multiple attempts, please contact after-sales support.

Q4: How should the device surface be cleaned and disinfected?

We recommend cleaning the device while it is powered off. The device enclosure supports:

  • Dry soft cloth wipe-down
  • Alcohol wipe-down
  • UV sterilization

When cleaning or disinfecting, please note:

  • Do not spray liquid directly onto the device

Warranty Statement

Thank you for purchasing a Vecverse product. Should any non-user-induced performance failure occur during normal use, you are entitled to Vecverse's warranty service. To protect your rights, please retain your proof of purchase (purchase record or invoice) after buying this product. The warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.

If a product failure occurs, please contact Vecverse after-sales support directly.

Warranty Service Coverage

  1. Within 15 days of purchase, any non-user-induced performance failure is eligible for a replacement with a product of the same model and specifications.

  2. Within the warranty period, if a product remains unusable after two replacements, you may — upon verification by Vecverse and with valid replacement records from the authorized retailer — choose either repair or replacement with a product of the same model and specifications.

Situations Not Covered by Warranty

  • Product is beyond the warranty period;
  • Warranty documentation does not match the product model;
  • Product does not carry Vecverse branding;
  • The accessory was not purchased from Vecverse or an authorized Vecverse retailer;
  • Routine cleaning or normal maintenance;
  • Unauthorized repair, modification, misuse, impact, compression, or liquid ingress;
  • Damage caused by accidents, abuse (including use beyond rated workload), or misuse;
  • Damage caused by improper storage (e.g., pest damage, liquid infiltration);
  • Damage caused by user-performed firmware flashing or use of unofficial software that renders the product inoperable;
  • Damage caused by natural disasters such as flood, fire, or lightning;
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear or natural aging of the product;
  • Vecverse products sold outside the applicable sales region;
  • Included accessories (power adapter, power cable, magnetic connectors) are not covered under warranty.
