The @Pette Mini Smart Charging Hub (hereinafter referred to as the "Smart Charging Hub") is an intelligent pipette management device designed for laboratory environments. It supports parking and recharging of @Pette Mini smart electronic pipettes, as well as network connectivity management, data export, and environmental monitoring. The device is equipped with a touchscreen, allowing users to configure network settings, adjust system preferences, and export logs directly on the device.

Magnetic Connector Installation
Please install the magnetic connector onto the @Pette Mini following the direction indicated on the connector.
Interface Description
The device is equipped with 2 USB-C ports. Both ports are functionally identical and support:
- Connecting a USB flash drive for local data export
- Connecting a USB dock equipped with an R8152 Ethernet chip to enable wired network connectivity
Before Use
Power Connection
Use the included power adapter and power cable to supply power to the device. The device will start up automatically once power is connected.
First Boot
After the device starts up, use the touchscreen to access network settings, device management, and system configuration.
Data Retrieval Reminder
The Smart Charging Hub is designed to work with the @Pette Mini smart electronic pipette.
To ensure data retrieval works properly, please confirm that the pipette firmware has been upgraded to version 1.4.9 or above.
If the pipette firmware version is lower than 1.4.9, data retrieval may not work properly with the Smart Charging Hub.
Network Options
The device supports the following network connection methods:
- Wi-Fi (Wireless LAN)
- Wired network (via a USB dock equipped with an R8152 Ethernet chip)
Note: This version does not include a 4G / cellular module.
Basic Operation
Power On
Connect the power adapter and power cable. The device will power on.
Wait for System Startup
The device will enter the home screen after startup. The first boot may take a moment — please wait patiently.
First-Time Network Setup
Go to the Network screen and select:
- Connect to Wi-Fi
Parking and Recharging
Attach the included magnetic connector to the @Pette Mini, then place the @Pette Mini into the corresponding slot on the Smart Charging Hub to begin recharging. If the device is not placed correctly, it may not be recognized — please readjust and try again.
Identifying Multiple Devices
Different @Pette Mini models have different color codes. Once a device is placed, the screen will display a color-coded device card for easy identification.
Device Capacity
- Up to 5 @Pette Mini units can be placed and recharged simultaneously
- Up to 10 @Pette Mini units can be connected to the network simultaneously
Note:
- After a @Pette Mini is removed from the Smart Charging Hub, it may remain connected to the network as long as network conditions allow. Actual behavior depends on the network environment and device status.
Exporting Data
To export logs, tap any device card on the home screen, enter the corresponding device page, then select "Log Export" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the export.
Note: Log data can be exported through a computer browser or by using a USB flash drive.
System Update
The device will proactively notify users of available updates. Updates can also be checked and applied manually via the Settings screen.
Account and Binding
No companion app, mini program, or web login is required for initial setup or daily use in the current version.
When exporting log data or viewing environmental data on a computer, ensure the computer and the Smart Charging Hub are connected to the same network, such as the same Wi-Fi, and access the web address displayed on the device screen in a computer browser.

Export Methods
The device supports two export methods:
Method 1: USB Flash Drive Export
Suitable for offline export of log files.
Before You Start:
- It is recommended to use a standard USB flash drive from a common brand
- If the device cannot recognize the USB flash drive, format it on a computer as exFAT or FAT32 and try again
- The USB flash drive should be connected to the Smart Charging Hub through a compatible USB dock connected to a USB-C port
- Supported file formats: .xlsx, .csv
- USB flash drive export does not require a network connection
Export Steps:
- Insert the USB flash drive into the USB dock, then connect the dock to any USB-C port on the Smart Charging Hub
- Open the device page for the data you want to export on the touchscreen
- Tap "Start Export"
- After the export is complete, view the exported files on the USB flash drive
Note:
- The exported files can be viewed as spreadsheet files on a computer
- Re-export is supported
Method 2: Browser Export
Suitable for directly downloading and saving log files on a computer.
Requirements:
- The Smart Charging Hub has been powered on and has completed startup
- The Smart Charging Hub has completed network configuration
- The computer and the Smart Charging Hub are connected to the same network, such as the same Wi-Fi
- Use a modern browser such as Chrome, Edge, or Safari
Export Steps:
- Tap any device card on the home screen to enter the corresponding device page
- Tap "Log Export" on the device page
- On the export page, select "Browser Export"
- Check the web address displayed on the device screen, for example:
http://192.168.110.126:8080/ - Enter the address in a browser on a computer connected to the same network
- After the page opens, select the pipette whose data you want to retrieve
- Download the log file
If the address cannot be accessed, please check:
- Whether the computer and device are on the same wireless network
- Whether the current network connection is working properly
- Whether the address was entered correctly
Note:
- If the browser shows a "Not Secure" message when accessing the device webpage, this is usually normal
- This webpage is provided locally by the device within the local network. The browser may label it as not secure, but this does not affect normal viewing or data export on a trusted network
System Update
Update Method
System updates are performed via OTA (over-the-air) and require an active network connection.
Update Features
The system update page supports:
- Automatic update check
- Scheduled overnight update: On / Off
- Update notifications: On / Off
- View current system version
- Receive new firmware push notifications
Update Precautions
- Keep the pipettes in their slots and ensure stable power supply during the update
- Do not disconnect power during the update
- Interrupting the update may cause device errors or damage
- System updates typically take several minutes, depending on firmware size and network conditions
Update Behavior
- Updates do not interrupt device recharging
- If an update fails, rollback is supported — place the device back into its slot to retry the update
Environmental Monitoring
The device has a built-in environmental sensor for monitoring and displaying environmental data.
Supported parameters:
- Temperature: -40°C ~ 85°C (±1.0°C)
- Humidity: 0% ~ 100% RH (±3% RH)
- Atmospheric Pressure: 300 ~ 1100 hPa (±1.0 hPa)

- After the device is connected to the network, environmental data and historical records can be viewed in a computer browser. To do this, make sure the computer and the Smart Charging Hub are on the same network, such as the same Wi-Fi, and use the web address displayed by the device.
Note: Environmental monitoring data is for reference and display purposes only, and does not replace professionally calibrated environmental monitoring equipment.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance is recommended to keep the device in good working condition.
Daily Cleaning
- Disconnect power before cleaning.
- Use a soft, clean, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the device.
- For dust, fingerprints, or general dirt, use a dry or lightly dampened soft cloth.
- When cleaning the touchscreen, wipe gently and avoid sharp or abrasive materials.
Disinfection
The device enclosure supports the following common disinfection methods:
- UV sterilization
- Alcohol wipe-down
UV Sterilization
UV sterilization may be applied to the outer surface of the device in accordance with laboratory management protocols. Follow the operating instructions of the UV equipment and ensure personnel are not directly exposed to UV light without appropriate protection.
Note: Components inside the slots are removable and can be taken out separately for disinfection.
Alcohol Wipe-Down
Use alcohol wipes or a soft cloth lightly dampened with alcohol to wipe the outer surface of the device. When doing so, please note:
- Do not spray liquid directly onto the device surface
- Avoid alcohol entering USB-C ports, gaps, or the interior of the device
- Allow the surface to dry completely before reconnecting power
Maintenance Recommendations
- Keep device slots, ports, and surfaces clean. Avoid accumulation of dust or liquid.
- When not in use for extended periods, disconnect power and store in a dry, clean environment.

Please check in the following order:
- Confirm the power adapter and power cable are properly connected
- Confirm the power outlet is functioning
- Use only the included or officially specified power adapter and cable
- Disconnect and reconnect power, then wait for the device to start up

Q2: The device has been on for a long time but hasn't reached the home screen. What should I do?
The device needs some time to start up — please wait patiently. If the home screen still does not appear after an extended wait, try the following:
- Disconnect power and restart the device
- Check that the power supply is stable
- If an update was recently performed, wait for the update process to complete
If the issue persists after multiple restarts, please contact after-sales support.
Q3: The @Pette Mini is not being recognized after placement. What should I do?
Please check the following:
- Whether the magnetic connector has been properly attached to the @Pette Mini

- Whether there is any misalignment or insufficient contact

Q5: Why does a device still appear online after being removed from the Smart Charging Hub?
After a @Pette Mini is removed from the Smart Charging Hub, it may remain connected to the network if network conditions allow. Its online status is affected by:

Q6: Cannot connect to Wi-Fi. What should I do?
Please check the following:
- Whether Wi-Fi is enabled
- Whether the wireless router is functioning normally
- Whether the Wi-Fi name and password are correct
- Whether the network signal is stable
- Whether the device is within network coverage range
Try moving the device to a location with a stronger signal. If the issue persists, try restarting the router or re-entering the network configuration page.
Q7: Wired network is not working. What should I do?
Please check the following:
- Whether you are using a USB dock equipped with an R8152 Ethernet chip
- Whether the Ethernet cable is securely connected
- Whether the router or switch is functioning normally
- Whether the USB dock is properly connected to the device's USB-C port
Try unplugging and reinserting the USB dock and Ethernet cable. Either USB-C port can be used.
Note: The wired network function is only compatible with USB docks equipped with the R8152 Ethernet chip. Docks using other chip types may not be recognized. Please verify the chip model when purchasing a dock.
Q8: USB flash drive is not recognized. What should I do?
Please check the following:
- Whether the USB flash drive is formatted as FAT32 or exFAT
- Whether the USB flash drive and USB dock are properly connected to the USB-C port
- Whether a compatible adapter or storage device is being used
- Whether the USB flash drive works on other devices
Try unplugging and reinserting the USB flash drive, then re-enter the export page. If the device still does not recognize it, try a different USB flash drive.
Q9: USB flash drive export failed. What should I do?
Please check the following:
- Whether the USB flash drive has been recognized by the device
- Whether the USB flash drive has been properly connected through a compatible USB dock
- Whether there is sufficient free space on the USB flash drive
- Whether the export was interrupted or the drive was removed prematurely
Wait for the device to display an export success message before removing the USB flash drive.
Q10: The Browser Export address cannot be accessed. What should I do?
Please check the following in order:
- Whether the computer and device are on the same local network / same Wi-Fi
- Whether the current network connection is working
- Whether the access address was entered correctly
- Whether the device is still on the "Browser Export" page
- Whether a modern browser is being used (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Safari)
If all of the above are confirmed and the address still cannot be accessed, re-enter the export page to obtain the address again.
Q11: What data is included in exported files?
The following data is currently supported for export:

Actual export content depends on the current software version and what is shown in the interface.
Q12: System update failed or cannot be initiated. What should I do?
Please check the following:
- Whether the device power supply is stable
- Whether the device remained operational throughout the update
- Confirm the network connection is working properly
Do not disconnect power, remove the device, or interrupt the process during an update. If the update fails, rollback is supported — re-enter the system update page and try again. If the issue persists after multiple attempts, please contact after-sales support.
Q13: Can the @Pette Mini be removed during an update?
Not recommended. Keep the pipettes in their slots and ensure the device remains powered throughout the update. Removing the device or disconnecting power mid-update may cause the update to fail or result in device errors.
Q14: Status indicator light is flashing abnormally. What should I do?
If the status light is flashing abnormally, first check the screen for any notification or error message. Follow these steps:
- Check whether an update or export is currently in progress
- Check that the power supply is stable
- Check that the network connection is working properly
- If no operation is in progress, try restarting the device

Q15: Why can't environmental data be viewed on the webpage?
Viewing environmental data requires a local network connection. Please check:

Q16: Can environmental monitoring data be used as a compliance record for the laboratory?

Q17: Does a calibration reminder mean the calibration is complete?
No. A calibration reminder is only a prompt to remind users to attend to their maintenance schedule. It does not indicate that calibration has been completed, nor does it constitute a calibration certificate. Calibration must be performed on the @Pette Mini itself.
Q18: What should I do if a calibration reminder appears?
When a calibration reminder appears, it is recommended to complete the calibration promptly to maintain measurement accuracy. You can perform calibration on the @Pette Mini itself. If you are unsure how to proceed, please contact after-sales support for guidance.
Q19: How should the device surface be cleaned and disinfected?
We recommend cleaning the device while it is powered off. The device enclosure supports:

Thank you for purchasing a Vecverse product. Should any non-user-induced performance failure occur during normal use, you are entitled to Vecverse's warranty service. To protect your rights, please retain your proof of purchase (purchase record or invoice) after buying this product. The warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.

Situations Not Covered by Warranty
- Product is beyond the warranty period;

- Product does not carry Vecverse branding;
- The accessory was not purchased from Vecverse or an authorized Vecverse retailer;
- Routine cleaning or normal maintenance;
- Unauthorized repair, modification, misuse, impact, compression, or liquid ingress;
- Damage caused by accidents, abuse (including use beyond rated workload), or misuse;
